Handmade Paper Tree
How should I put it? My journey with paper plants started quite by chance. I've always been captivated by the green of leaves, but my workspace is a bit shaded, and I was worried about splashing water everywhere and dirtying my papers if I kept a real plant. So, I decided to try making a tree out of paper. And I got hooked! The feeling of sitting still, my hands busy cutting and pasting, my mind free from any thoughts, is incredibly relaxing. The soft sound of the scissors, the gentle press to curve a leaf—it's like my own form of stress relief. The best part is watching a plain sheet of paper transform in my hands into a leaf, a branch with real shape and form. That moment is so satisfying! It feels like I'm performing magic, turning something simple into something beautiful. And when I place the small, self-made tree on my desk, I feel a unique kind of joy. It not only brightens up the corner of my room but also becomes a green "friend" that never withers and asks for no care. Every now and then, I look up, see it still there, still fresh, and my heart fills with joy. It's as simple as that.
